Council Meeting in Cardwell
Cassowary Coast Regional Council is taking a local government meeting to Cardwell on Thursday 25 May so that residents at the southernmost end of the region can attend more easily.
Council usually alternates between the Innisfail Shire Hall and Tully Civic Centre for its monthly local government meetings and committee meetings.
Cassowary Coast Mayor John Kremastos said the council resolved earlier this year to bring several local government meetings to outlying areas.
He encouraged residents of Cardwell and surrounds to come along to the Cardwell Library on Balliol St. The local government meeting will begin at 9am and is open the public. It will be a chance for residents to meet the councillors.
A copy of the meeting agenda will be available on Council's website next week under "Council Meetings" at www.cassowarycoast.qld.gov.au
