The first regular meeting of the Cassowary Coast Regional Council considered a full agenda and was attended by representatives from three newspapers and a few members of the public.

The Local Government Meeting is to be held at the Chjowai Hall, McGowan Drive, Innisfail on Thursday, 10 April 2008 commencing at 9.00am.
Notice is hereby given that the following Local Government Meetings of the Cassowary Coast Regional Council will be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month commencing at 9.00am and be held in Innisfail and Tully respectively.
The new council members met informally for the first time on Tuesday 1st April.
Pursuant to the requirements of Section 442 of the Local Government Act, the Cassowary Coast Regional Council’s Post-Election Meeting will be held at the Chjowai Hall, McGowan Drive, Innisfail on Thursday, 3 April 2008 commencing at 10.30am.
