Skills workshops coming north

Arts Nexus is association with the Queensland Arts Council (QAC) is bringing a series of eight nationally-recognised skills workshops designed to strengthen community groups to the north in May and June. 

Except for the Collections workshop presented by Museums Resources Officer for FNQ, Maria Friend,  the presenter for all other workshops in the series is Diane Morgan, CEO of Volunteering Queensland, a well respected registered training organisation with a wide suite of training programs.  These workshops will interest artsworkers, key staff or volunteers from a wide range of community organisations, whether cultural, environmental, sporting or any other kind.

Each workshop can be taken separately either towards accreditation or just for personal learning, and are subsidised by the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund at an affordable cost $25 per workshop.
