Have your say on the LMP for Jack Fossey Park
Members of the community are invited to make comment on Council’s Draft Land Management Plan for R996 – Reserve for Park and Recreation Purposes, including Jack Fossey Park.
Reserve R996 comprises Lot 269 CP846524 (Jack Fossey Park), Lot 271 NR6501 and Lot 268 SP146773 and extends downstream from opposite Alice Street to the junction of the South Johnstone River with Bamboo Creek.
The purpose of the Land Management Plan is to allow secondary use of the Reserve area which will enhance the community use and enjoyment of the Reserve, and specifically envisages the establishment of a kiosk within the Reserve area.
Copies of the Draft Land Management Plan can be viewed at all Council offices and also downloaded below.
The Council would welcome comments on the Draft Land Management Plan by Thursday, 2nd July 2009.
