Have your say on the LMP for the Innisfail Boat Harbour
Members of the community are invited to make comment on Council’s Draft Land Management Plan for R1402 – Reserve for Local Government (Port and Boat Harbour) Purposes.
Reserve R1402 covers the area described as Lot 270 NR7992, comprising a section of the Johnstone River known as the Innisfail Boat Harbour and a small area of land on the adjoining riverbank.
The purpose of the Land Management Plan is to allow Council to provide facilities of a high standard using public and private funding sources which will in turn facilitate increased community and commercial use of the area. Proposed uses of the reserve area include mooring facilities, pontoons and other marine infrastructure.
Copies of the Draft Land Management Plan can be viewed at all Council offices and also downloaded below.
The Council would welcome comments on the Draft Land Management Plan by Friday, 31st July 2009.
