Temporary Closure of Frogs Hollow Sports Oval
The Cassowary Coast Regional Council wishes to advise of the temporary closure of portions of the Frogs Hollow Reserve at South Mission Beach between 16th November 2009 and 15th January 2010 to allow for the upgrade of the oval surface and associated drainage works.
Those portions of the reserve which will be closed to the public will be the oval and surrounds, and the car park and surrounds. The Community Hall, toilets and access road will remain available for public use. The closed portions of the reserve will be defined with barrier-mesh or signage.
Members of the public using the Community Hall during working hours within the construction period are advised to park their vehicles on South Mission Beach Road and to exercise care when entering the reserve, paying particular attention to the movement of trucks onto the site.
