Switch to Electronic Billing for Rates
The Cassowary Coast Regional Council is encouraging all ratepayers to switch to receiving their rate notices electronically via email. The electronic billing system has now been in place for over 18 months and is proving to be highly efficient.
It is not only more economical to use email instead of traditional post, it also reduces our carbon footprint.
Mayor John Kremastos said the new billing system is quicker and more convenient than traditional postage, giving online access to rate notices from any location.
“Council is doing everything possible to offer a range of convenient payment choices for ratepayers, and the move to electronic billing is a significant step forward for ratepayers who prefer doing their business online,” said Mayor John Kremastos.
There are two ways to make the switch;
Either by completing an Electronic Issue of Rates Notice form here http://www.cassowarycoast.qld.gov.au/rates-information1 ; or
Registering with your internet bank provider for notification via BPay View http://www.cassowarycoast.qld.gov.au/documents/1422210/3187623/BPAY%20View%20Brochure ; or call Council on 1 300 763 903 for more information.
