July 18 2017: Little Party to perform on the Cassowary Coast
Council's 'Morning Melodies' series continues
Australian entertainer Little Patty was 14 years old when her debut single He's My Blonde-Headed Stompie Wompie Real Gone Surfer Boy soared into the charts.
She never looked back - and more than 50 years later she is still going strong.
Little Patty will be performing at the Innisfail Shire Hall on Tuesday 25 July as part of her Queensland tour and Cassowary Coast Regional Council's Morning Melodies series.
Audiences can look forward to everything from surf music to the Banstand years, swing and contemporary music.
"Memories of Bandstand" has been described as a "musical journey with great music and wonderful stories".
As well as live performances Little Patty has performed regularly on television variety shows including Bandstand and she sang for the troops during the Vietnam War.
Other hits include We're Gonna Have a Party Tonight, Pushin' a Good Thing Too Far and Dance Puppet Dance.
This Morning Melodies event will be on a Tuesday rather than a Thursday. Doors will open at 10am for a 10.30am start.
