Plumbing and Drainage
Approval is required for all plumbing and drainage work in accordance with the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2002 (Qld). Plumbing and drainage work can only be carried out by a licensed plumber/drainer.
Any application for plumbing and drainage work will need to be lodged with Council, along with the applicable application fees. An application for plumbing and drainage work is ordinarily made by the licensed plumber/drainer carrying out the work.
An application for plumbing and drainage must include the Plumbing Form 1 and a proposed Plumbing and Drainage Plan. If work is to occur in a non sewered area, a copy of an Onsite Sewerage Facilities Report should also be included.
