As a temporary food stall holder at the upcoming Feast of the Senses, Council's Environmental Health Officers are available to support your needs with food stall holder licensing requirements and information.

Should your food activity require a food licence you will need to submit an Application for Temporary Food Premises Licence to Council by 5th March 2012 to allow sufficient processing time for your application. 

The application fee for a Temporary Food Stall licence is $60.00.

In addition you will require public liability insurance cover for $20 million.
 
Council's Environmental Health Officers will carry out inspections of all food stalls and food handling activities during the festival.  Food stalls or operators who do not meet food safety requirements under the Food Act 2006 and the Food Safety Standards, may be asked to cease trading until their stall and/or the operator conditions for safe food storage, preparation and handling are met.
