Stage 2: Mission Beach Library Refurbishment - closed from 1st February

We're excited! Mission Beach Library is getting a refurbishment! This does mean that from Monday 1st February, the Mission Beach branch will temporarily close for approximately 8 weeks to allow for stage 2 of renovations at the facility.

Renovations being undertaken include improving disability access, installation of a new meeting room, improved public areas with new desks for study or laptop users, carpet, shelving, furniture and comfortable seating.

Customers are able to reserve items online or by calling us on 1300 366 616 and select which branch they wish to collect their items from.  Alternatively, collections can be made at the pick up point at the rear of Mission Beach Library on Tuesdays 8.30 am to 10.30am and Fridays 8.30am to 10.30am. The after-hours chute will remain open at Mission Beach Library, or customers are welcome to take their returns to any of our other branches.

Our Cardwell, Innisfail and Tully branches will be business as usual, with computer, wi-fi and photocopying available in each of these locations.
