COVID-19 Update 31/03/2020
Cassowary Coast Library buildings closed to the public.
Due to the latest advice from the Prime Minister and heightened concerns about public gatherings, Council advises that library buildings are closed to the public.
To support our community during this time, Cassowary Coast Libraries has implemented the following:
- current loans are extended to be due 1 May 2020
- Customers wanting to join the library can apply for Online Membership by completing an online Member Sign Up form
- After-hours returns chutes will remain open 24/7
- Library staff can be contacted by calling 1300 366 616 (Monday-Friday)
As an alternative to book loans, Cassowary Coast Libraries reminds residents of our eLibrary services which offers a 24/7 digital library service allowing members to borrow from a huge range of e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines and movies. This service offers an incredible array of titles across each service and can be downloaded to computers or mobile devices.
Members of the community seeking to join the library are encouraged to do so via Member Services.
