Easter Weekend Closure
All branches of Cassowary Coast Libraries will be closed for the Easter long weekend:

All branches will re-open at normal times on Tuesday 23rd April. Our eLibrary service will be open all weekend. Wishing you a very happy and safe Easter.
Heritage Festival: Connecting People, Places & the Past
Paintings by local artists, historic photographs and architectural plans provide an insight into how rivers, light rail and civic buildings connected the people and places of our region from the late 19th century onwards.

School Holiday Activities - April 2019
The April / Easter School holidays are here and we have lots happening at Cassowary Coast Libraries! From robotics and coding, movies for kids and teens, heaps of fun crafts as well as our regular programs of Lego-Rama, Storytime and Baby Bounce. Bookings are essential for some activities, and children under 12 are to be accompanied by an adult. LOTE - Languages Other Than English
Whether you want to retain fluency in your first language, keep your culture alive, or develop your skills in another language, you can borrow books and dvds in other languages at every Cassowary Coast Library branch. We can help you access fiction and non-fiction books and dvds for adults and children in more than 50 languages through our bulk loan service with the State Library of Queensland. If you can't see your language, please talk to our friendly staff and we would be happy to place a request for you. Go to our Collections page for more information.
