LAMP Multicultural Program

The Local Area Multicultural Partnership (LAMP) Program, an initiative of the Queensland Government, is a ground-breaking partnership strategy between State Government and Local Government to support and engage with communities to be actively involved in multicultural Queensland.

Its main purpose is to promote multiculturalism and harmonious community relations within local government areas. As part of this strategy, State Government provides funding to participating Councils and to the Local Government Association of Queensland (LGAQ).
