The Queensland Health Service are providing free women's health service in the Cassowary Coast region

One in seven women in Australia will develop breast cancer at some stage in their life. A breast screen is the best way to find breast cancer in its earliest stages, for better health outcomes.

The Service provides free breast screens (mammograms) particularly for women aged 50 – 74, but is also available for women in their 40s and those over 75.

Appointments can be booked by phoning 13 20 50, or online (www.breastscreen.qld.gov.au).
