Our Cassowary Coast Region is home to many beautiful and interesting gardens. We have the coastal areas, drier woodland areas to our lush rainforests and each of these unique areas lend themselves to wonderful gardening opportunities. So whatever your gardening style , from vegetable gardens to large rural gardens to an outdoor patio garden our 2021 Tropical Garden Challenge has a category to suit you.
Entries are now open for the CCRC Tropical Garden Challenge 2021 and gardeners are asked to submit their entries by Tuesday 24th August. Judging will be carried out between 31st August to 2nd September 2021 followed by an awards afternoon tea which will be held at Warrina Gardens in Innisfail, on a date to be advised.
Entry forms are available from the Council Customer Service Centres in Innisfail and Tully, Libraries in Cardwell and Wongaling Beach or by downloading the form here.

The Tropical Garden Challenge is our annual Cassowary Coast Regional Council Garden Competition. There are 12 category prizes of $100 each + the Champion Garden Perpetual Trophy The Rose Layt Memorial Trophy.
