Cassowary Coast Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest from engineering students to join our cadetship program.
Gain practical, hands-on experience by working alongside industry professionals and learn first-hand how a Council operates its Engineering fields.
Diverse Exposure: As a Local Government, we manage a variety of infrastructure, including water and sewage treatment plants, roads, drainage pathways, sewer and water networks, asset management, civil design and master planning & project delivery
Exciting Projects: Council is undertaking a number of exciting projects over the next 12 – 24 months. You will gain exposure to each of these, providing you with the opportunity to gain practical knowledge. Projects include:
Develop Knowledge & Skills: Our cadetship program includes on-the-job learning, technical and professional training, role rotations, mentoring, and development opportunities that will provide you with highly valuable industry knowledge and skills
Scholarship & Opportunities to Earn while Studying: Successful candidates will receive $16- $24,000 Scholarship funding and paid holiday work over two to three years
