Spring School Holidays - 23 September to 4 October

Free School Holiday activities are avaialble at all of our library branches! As well as our regular Baby Bounce, Storytime and Lego events, we also have movies, crafts, slime and puzzles.

Junior Steamers has arrived at our Cardwell branch, and there are 2 great robotics sessions happening with our Dash and Sphero robots. 


Age limits apply and bookings are essential on some activities. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult to all activities in all branches.  Call us on 1300 366 616 to make a booking, and see our events calendar and Facebook page for more information.

Good Reading - Everything about books

Good Reading's Hub for Book Lovers gives you free and open access to loads of articles about books and authors, plus independant reviews of the latest books. There are many by Australian and New Zealand authors, as well as some old favourites that we need to be reminded of, just because they are so good! Access the digital version of the Good Reading print magazine, SpineOut e-magazine for teens and PK Mag e-magazine for kids.

Story Box Library - Free eLibrary service for children.

Enjoy the magic of stories anywhere, anytime. Story Box Library is a place where the best storytellers read aloud great stories by Australian and New Zealand authors, combining stories and film to create a vibrant, interactive experience.  Help kids get excited about reading, inspire their imaginations,and let them have fun with books!
