If you have a lost or missing animal, you can report it to Council's customer service team. All animals that are picked up and impounded by Council's Local Law Officers will be checked against the lost animal register and the owners will be contacted where possible. Animal Description:
Entire Male Tabby Kitten roughly 10 weeks old, no tags and no microchip found, this kitten was found in Babinda wandering at large by a member of the public.
Claiming your impounded animals
Release fees– payment can be made by credit card over the phone by calling 1300 763 903, or in person by card only at Customer Service Centres.
Dog registration – if an impounded dog is not yet registered, the registration can be completed by contacting customer service on 1300 763 903 or in person at a Customer Service Centre.
If the animal was found wandering at large, an enclosure inspection may be required that may also result in a compliance notice being issued.
