Boat Ramps

The region is home to 16 boat ramps, providing easy access to the water for recreational boating. Some of these ramps are owned and managed by the State Government’s Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), with Council acting as the facility manager.

These ramps include:

  1. Flying Fish Point Boat Ramp, Flying Fish Point (TMR-owned)
  2. Coconuts Boat Ramp, Coconuts (TMR-owned)
  3. Innisfail Harbour Boat Ramp (near Jubilee Bridge), Innisfail (TMR-owned)
  4. Cowley Beach Boat Ramp (Bambarook Road), Cowley Beach (TMR-owned)
  5. Maria Creek Boat Ramp (Haydon Road), Kurrimine Beach (TMR-owned)
  6. Kurrimine Beach Boat Ramp (Robert Johnstone Parade), Kurrimine Beach (TMR-owned)
  7. Clump Point Boat Ramp, Mission Beach (TMR-owned)
  8. South Mission Beach Boat Ramp (Kennedy Esplanade), South Mission Beach
  9. Hull River Boat Ramp (Jackey Jackey Street), South Mission Beach
  10. Hull River Boat Ramp (Hull Drive), Carmoo
  11. Hull River Boat Ramp, Hull Heads
  12. Tully River Boat Ramp, Tully Heads
  13. Meunga Creek Boat Ramp (Meunga Creek Boat Ramp Road), Cardwell
  14. Cardwell Boat Ramp (Sheridan Street), Cardwell
  15. Port Hinchinbrook Boat Ramp, Cardwell
  16. Fishers Creek Boat Ramp, Cardwell (TMR-owned)

Boat ramps are cleaned according to the below calendar. Times are subject to weather and tide variations.
