Things to Remember on Collection Day
Things to Remember on Collection Day
- Put your bin out by 6:00 AM on collection day or the night before.
- Place bins within one metre of the kerb with the handle facing your house.
- Keep bins at least one metre apart to allow for easy collection.
- Ensure the lid is fully closed—overfilled bins may not be collected.
- Keep bins light—trucks can’t pick up bins over 70kg.
- Avoid obstacles—place bins away from low-hanging branches, power lines, and parked cars.
- Bring bins in within 24 hours after collection and store them on your property.
If your collection day falls on a public holiday, including Christmas Day and Good Friday, we will still empty the bin.
