After-hours emergency contact

Council’s after-hours service is for urgent matters only that cannot wait until the next business day.

To help us respond quickly to emergencies and critical incidents, please use the after-hours service on 1300 763 903 for issues that require an immediate response.

For all non-urgent enquiries, service requests and general information, please contact Council during business hours or use our online service Make a Request by clicking on the relevant issue.

Use the after-hours service for:

Water or sewer emergencies, including major leaks, burst mains, sewer overflows or loss of water supply
Road hazards that present an immediate safety risk, including fallen trees, large potholes, flooding or damaged signage
Public safety issues on Council land or at Council facilities, such as exposed electrical hazards, dangerous structures or significant storm damage
Animal management incidents involving dog attacks
Blocked drains or flooding causing an immediate risk to property or safety
Environmental incidents requiring urgent attention, such as hazardous spills on Council-controlled land or roads
Livestock on Council roads
