Payments

Rate notices issue in January and August of each year.

You have 30 days to pay the balance in full and when paid by the due date, a discount on the General Rate is allocated.

Interest charges will apply to late payment. Please note, cash and cheque are no longer accepted at Council offices.

Online with Payble

Payble is Council's secure, online payment platform.

Pay your rates notice quickly and easily online by setting up and managing your own payment schedules. Payments can be made from a bank account, debit or credit card.

Payment by Telephone and Internet Banking - BPAY

Contact your bank or financial institution to make this payment directly from your cheque, savings, debit, credit card or transaction account.

Please quote the Biller Code and Reference Number as shown beside the BPAY logo on the front of your notice.  Please refer to your bank or financial institution for cut-off times for the processing of payments.  Further information can be obtained from www.bpay.com.au.

Payment by Telephone and Internet - BPoint

BPoint Telephone

Call Cassowary Coast Regional Council on 1300 276 468 to make this payment from your Mastercard, Visa or Amex. Please quote the Customer Reference Number located on the front of your notice.

BPoint Internet

You can pay your rates online through Council's BPoint Service using Mastercard, Visa or Amex.

Payment Arrangements

Payble is Council's secure, online payment platform where General Arrangements can be entered if unable to pay your rates in full by the due date.

By entering an arrangement through the Payble platform, payments are automatically deducted from your nominated payment method. Payble also issues payment reminder notifications via either SMS or email.

Paying Rates via Centrepay (Centrelink)

Can't pay your rates in full by the due date? Please contact Council on 1300 763 903 to discuss payment arrangement options.

Australia Post

Payment can be made by presenting your notice at any Australia Post outlet, calling 13 18 16 or using the internet at www.postbillpay.com.au. Please quote the Billpay Code and the reference number as shown on the front of your notice.

Cash payment is accepted at all Australia Post outlets.
