Want to give back to your community? Volunteering with Council is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, and make a difference.

There are many ways to get involved:

  • Community Nurseries – Help grow and care for local plants.
  • Visitor Information Centres – Share your local knowledge with visitors.
  • Events – Assist at festivals, markets, and other community events.

Mission Beach & Tully Visitor Information Centres

  • Meet new friends and travellers
  • Share your knowledge of the area
  • Learn new skills and gain valuable work experience

Tully and Innisfail Community Nurseries

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow plant enthusiasts, enjoy a fun and social atmosphere, and make a real difference in your community.

  • Innisfail Volunteers: Thursdays, 8 AM - 11 AM
  • Tully Volunteers: Fridays, 9 AM - 12 PM
