From pub to paddock – let’s talk pigs, pests and weeds!

Cassowary Coast landholders are invited to pull up a chair and talk pigs, pests and weeds as Council launches a new community biosecurity information series this September.

From pub to paddock will see Council officers Arthur and Rowan coming to a pub near you to share practical, local information about feral pigs, invasive weeds and other biosecurity issues affecting the Cassowary Coast region.

The informal sessions are a chance to learn more about practical ways to manage pigs, pests and weeds on your property, ask questions and discuss topics about biosecurity.

The first session will be held at Hotel Euramo on Wednesday 23 September, followed by Mena Creek Hotel on Wednesday 28 October.
