In accordance with the Local Government Act 2009 and the Local Government Regulation 2012, Council is required to adopt its Annual Budget prior to 1 August each year. In accordance with Section 170 of the Local Government Act 2009, a Local Government must consider the Budget presented and, by Resolution, adopt the Budget with or without amendment.
NOTICE is hereby given that the proposed Budget outlined in the Budget papers will be presented to the Cassowary Coast Regional Council for consideration and adoption at the Special Budget Meeting of the Council to be held on Thursday 25 June 2026 at the Tully Civic Centre, Level 2 Boardroom, 38-40 Bryant Street, Tully commencing at 9.00 am.
