Council advises that the dugong climber (play slide) at Dugong Park in Cardwell will be removed tomorrow, Wednesday, 6 May following its recent closure due to safety concerns.
The park will be temporarily closed while a contractor undertakes removal works. This is to ensure the safety of park users, with machinery and personnel operating on site.
Council thanks the community for their understanding while these works are carried out.
