June is dog registration month!

Dog registration renewal notices were posted this week so Cassowary Coast dog owners will start receiving them in the mail shortly.
The good news is you don't need to wait for your renewal notice to arrive. If you have your dog's details handy, you can renew online today using the link below or visit by visiting a Council Customer Service Centre.

Included with this year's renewal notice is an option to sign up to receive your registration renewal notices via email.
Make sure your dog registration is paid by 30 June 2026!
Unregistered dogs found wandering at large could incur fines over $300.
Eligible discounts apply for:
- Desexed dogs (50% discount)
- Pensioners (50% discount)
- Puppies under six months (free registration)
- Working dogs and assistance dogs (free registration)
If this is the first time you are registering your dog, you'll receive a lifetime registration tag.
Please ensure your dog wears this tag at all times. Replacement tags are available if lost.
