Cassowary Coast Library & Museum Services and Mamu Health Service invite families and community members to experience a magical evening of cultural connection at our ‘Night at the Library’, a special evening event at the Innisfail Library on Friday, 27 March, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

This event will see the library transform into a lively hive of activities for all ages after closing time and into the night. Join us for shared storytelling, many multicultural craft activities, a family photo booth, and a community meal provided by Mamu Health Service.

Families who may not usually attend library programs or are unable to visit during regular hours will be able to share a sense of belonging and connection while celebrating the rich diversity of our local community.

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to experience the library in a whole new way! Mark your calendars for an evening of fun, connection and cultural sharing.

Quote attributed to Mayor Teresa Millwood:

"A Night at the Library is a wonderful opportunity for families and community members to come together, share stories, and celebrate the vibrant cultures that make our region so special. Libraries are more than just places for books, they are hubs for connection, learning, and community, and this event is a perfect example of that."

Quote attributed to Councillor Trudy Tschui:

"This evening is about creating a space where everyone feels welcome and included. It’s a chance to experience the magic of storytelling, explore different cultures, and enjoy quality time with family and friends. We’re thrilled to partner with Mamu Health Service to bring this event to life and look forward to seeing our community come together."
