Mayor Using Payble App

To coincide with the latest issue of rate notices, Council has launched a new online payment system to give residents more choice and flexibility when paying their rates.

 

Payble is a secure, user-friendly platform that allows ratepayers to pay in weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or half-yearly instalments, or make a one-off payment, using a credit card, debit card or directly from a bank account.

 

The new system also offers SMS reminders before payments are due and allows users to update their personal details at any time.

 

Mayor Teresa Millwood said the introduction of Payble reflects Council’s commitment to improving customer service and embracing digital innovation.

 

“We’re excited to introduce Payble to our region because it makes managing rate payments easy and more convenient,” Mayor Millwood said.

 

“We know people lead busy lives and this gives them more control over how and when they pay. Council is always looking for ways to improve the customer experience, and Payble is a great example of that.”

 

More than 28 councils across Australia are now using Payble to improve their payment services, making it easier for residents to stay on top of their financial commitments.
