Project update: More of Kurrimine Beach to explore on foot

Stage 2 of the King Reef walking track at Kurrimine Beach is nearing final completion, with a new 500-metre extension delivered south towards Maria Creek.

The new section builds on the existing 2km King Reef Walking Track, which was recently repaired through assistance provided through the jointly funded Commonwealth-state Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).

A new seat and additional signage will be installed over the coming weeks to complete the works.

Locals and visitors are encouraged to get active and explore the extended track and Kurrimine Beach foreshore.

The track extension is an action item of the Kurrimine and Cowley Beach Foreshore Management Plan.
