We wish to advise the community of upcoming works on Flying Fish Point Road, just north of Innisfail State College.
A new residential development on the western side of Flying Fish Point requires construction of culverts to manage stormwater flow. Residents will experience temporary water supply interruptions during the duration of works.
Council will provide advanced notice of any planned outages to minimise inconvenience.
Start date: Tuesday, 7 July 2026
Expected completion: Mid-November 2026 (weather permitting).
A sidetrack will be in place to maintain traffic flow; however, delays are expected.
Please follow all signage and plan your travel accordingly to allow extra time.
