Cassowary Coast Regional Council (CCRC) wishes to advise that there may be interruptions to the traffic and property access while Council’s contractors carry out water mains renewals in East Innisfail.

Works are scheduled to start on Schue Street (western side), followed by Clancy, Breen, Schue (eastern side), Bunda and Bartle streets between 10 November 2025 and mid-March 2026.

Council will endeavour to minimise possible temporary impacts with:

Temporary interruptions to water supply (after mandatory resident notifications);
Temporary impacts to traffic with temporary road closures (local traffic only);
Access to kerbside parking;
Construction noise;
Disruption to driveway access; and
Loss of water supply.

For the safety of workers and road users, changed traffic conditions will be in place while the works are carried out.
