Project update – Etty Bay Road

 

Works to replace the existing one-lane bridge are now complete.

The old bridge has been replaced with two large culverts and the road reinstated as a two-lane crossing, improving traffic flow and safety through the area.

Project complete

Works included:

  • Removal of the existing one-lane bridge.
  • Installation of two large culverts in the creek bed.
  • Reinstatement of the road as a two-lane crossing.
  • Water main upgrade works.
  • Relocation of Telstra services.
  • Removal of the temporary construction detour.

Council thanks the community for their patience and cooperation while these works were completed.
