What to expect
During construction, changed traffic conditions will be in place on Murray Street immediately north of the Bineham Street intersection.
- Murray Street will remain open via a temporary side track
- The road will be partially closed, but not fully closed
- Minor traffic delays may occur when entering and travelling through the work area
- Pedestrian access may be temporarily redirected around the site
- Nearby residents and businesses may notice construction noise, dust, and increased vehicle and machinery movement during working hours
- Access to nearby properties will be maintained where practical, although short temporary delays may occur during some construction activities
There are currently no planned water or sewer service interruptions. If any interruption becomes necessary, affected residents will be notified in advance.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to follow all traffic control directions and allow extra travel time while works are underway.
Once works are complete and the temporary side track is removed, Murray Street will return to normal traffic conditions.
