About the Project
Council is renewing the Seaview Street Amenities Block as part of the 2025/26 Amenities Renewal Program. The existing building has suffered high levels of deterioration including blockwork, tiles, drainage issues, and does not meet accessibility standards.

Community feedback, particularly through the stinger net survey, confirmed the poor condition of this facility.

What’s Included

The new facility will include:

  • 3 x standard toilets
  • 1 x unisex accessible toilet with baby change table
  • 1 x male ambulant toilet
  • 1 x female ambulant toilet

Delivery

  • Delivered by Council’s Building Trades Team with local contractors
  • Delivered through Council’s renewal program
  • Temporary portable toilets provided onsite during works

Timeline

  • Start: 23 September 2025
  • Completion: Mid–late November 2025 (weather permitting)
