Picture3.jpg
Council will commence renewal works on Culvert No. 12 on Silky Oak Creek Road, near 290 Silky Oak Creek Road, Silky Oak, from 11 September 2026.

The project involves replacing the existing damaged culvert crossing with new twin-cell 1350mm diameter culverts and headwalls, along with creek batter works, rock erosion protection and road pavement reinstatement.

These works are required following damage caused during the 2025 disaster and flood event. The project is being delivered under Council’s State-funded Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) to restore the road crossing and reinstate damaged infrastructure.

Timing

Works are expected to be carried out from Friday 11 September 2026 to Monday 12 October 2026, weather permitting.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 6:30pm
