Cassowary Coast Regional Council Christmas Closures

Cassowary Coast Regional Council advises that Customer Service Centres, Libraries, and Depots will close for the Christmas period from Saturday, 20 December 2025, and will re-open with usual opening hours returning on Monday, 5 January 2026.
There will be no disruption to kerbside waste collection during this period.
Please note that Waste Transfer Stations and landfills will be closed on Christmas Day, 25 December 2025.
Waste Transfer Stations opening hours for Boxing Day and News Year’s Day:
26 December – Boxing Day
- Stoters Hill/Innisfail – 8am-4pm
- Tully – 9am-1pm
- Bells Creek – 9am-1pm
- Mission Beach – 9am-1pm
1 January – New Year’s Day
- Stoters Hill/Innisfail – 8am-4pm
- Tully – 9am-1pm
- Mission Beach – 9am-1pm
- Cardwell – 9am-1pm
