NOTICE OF CARPARK CLOSURE

Council advises of temporary disruptions to traffic and property access while contractors undertake a modular building lift within the car park between Butler Street and Richardson Street.

The works require the use of a crane to lift a modular building, and a safety perimeter will be established during this time.

Scheduled Works:

Tuesday, 23 to Friday, 26 June 2026, weather permitting.

Temporary impacts include:

  • Traffic changes: Traffic control will be in place, including potential car park closures and short delays during crane operations.
  • Construction noise: Businesses may experience increased noise from crane use and associated machinery.
  • Pedestrian access: Pedestrian access will be temporarily redirected around active work areas, as shown in the image above.

For the safety of workers and road users, changed traffic conditions will apply for the duration of the works.
