The Mission Beach Historical Society (MBHS) commemorates the anniversary of E. Banfield's passing (2/06/1923). The June MBHS meeting will be a social gathering to commemorate the 100th anniversary of E. Banfield's death on Thursday 1/06 at 10.30am at the C4 Theatrette, (next to the Visitor Information Centre), 55 Porter Promenade, Mission Beach. Enjoy a short presentation, a slide show and a display. Morning tea will be provided. Each attendee will receive a copy of the abridged version of the Banfield story. Free admission for MBHS members - $10 for non-members. For catering purposes, please RSVP by Tuesday 30/05.
