Interactive Mapping
Cassowary Coast Regional Council's interactive mapping enables you to navigate a map of the Cassowary Coast, viewing it at a regional level or zooming in to regional centres, rural areas and suburbs at street level.
Conditions of Use for Cassowary Coast Regional Council's Interactive Mapping
To access Council's Interactive Mapping, you must read and agree to all of the conditions of use provided below.
1. Disclaimer
No warranty is given in relation to the data (including accuracy, reliability, completeness, currency or suitability) and no liability is accepted (including without limitation, liability in negligence) for any loss, damages or costs (including consequential damage) relating to any use of the data. Data must not be used for direct marketing or be used in breach of the privacy laws.
To the extent that liability can be excluded under the law, Cassowary Coast Regional Council (CCRC) and the State of Queensland are not liable under any circumstances for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly in connection with the use of information or data provided in CCRC's Interactive Mapping. Users of CCRC's Interactive Mapping do not rely on the completeness or accuracy of information or data provided in CCRC's Interactive Mapping, for any purpose. Use of CCRC's Interactive Mapping is not a substitute for formal searches of property data.
2. Ownership
The map layers displayed in CCRC's Interactive Mapping are compiled from a variety of sources. Many of the map layers in CCRC's Interactive Mapping are based on digital cadastral data provided under licence to the CCRC by the State of Queensland as represented by the Department of Natural Resources. These digital cadastral data provided under licence are referred to as "licensed data". The user of CCRC's Interactive Mapping acknowledges and accepts that the State of Queensland is the owner of the intellectual property rights, including copyright in the licensed data. These conditions of use do not confer on the user of CCRC's Interactive Mapping any rights of ownership in the licensed data.
The user of CCRC's Interactive Mapping acknowledges and accepts that Cassowary Coast Regional Council is the owner of the intellectual property rights, including copyright, in the information and data provided through CCRC's Interactive Mapping, with the exception of licensed data. These conditions of use do not confer on the user of CCRC's Interactive Mapping any rights of ownership in any data.
3. Permitted Use
The user of CCRC's Interactive Mapping shall not on-sell, or distribute for reward, any information or data from CCRC's Interactive Mapping.
