Kirrama Range Road Culvert Upgrade Completed

Back

Cassowary Coast Regional Council would like to advise the community that the Kirrama Range Road culvert replacement is now completed, and the road is now reopened.

The Kirrama Range Road is a stunning drive through parts of the World Heritage Wet Tropics in our region, and also passes over many bridges, a number of spectacular lookouts and through the Murray Upper National Park and Girringun National Park.

The estimated $250,000 culvert replacement was fully funded by the Cassowary Coast Regional Council and will improve road safety and expand the infrastructure life expectancy at this location.

Council sincerely thanks the community and residents who frequent the road for your patience and cooperation during these important works and road closure.
