Expression of Interest Now Open - Cassowary Coast Indigenous Art Show 2025

Cassowary Coast Regional Council, in partnership with Arts Queensland through the Regional Arts Development Fund, is calling for Expressions of Interest from local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and creatives to participate in the Cassowary Coast Indigenous Art Show 2025.

This exhibition will take place during Reconciliation Week on Wednesday 28 May and Thursday 29 May 2025 at the Innisfail Shire Hall and will celebrate and showcase the diversity and depth of First Nations art and culture in our region.

Council is seeking emerging and established First Nations artists with a connection to the Cassowary Coast region to submit up to four original artworks or creative pieces for display. Artworks can include painting, drawing, weaving, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, fabric, and fibrework.

Artists can also express interest in receiving business and marketing support through Council’s Economic Development Team to grow their creative enterprise.
