Roadworks Notice – Tully-Mission Beach Road

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will begin reconstruction works in early June 2025 to repair damage caused by Tropical Cyclone Jasper.

Location: In front of Mission Central Shopping Centre on Tully–Mission Beach Road, south of Oceanview Drive

Scope of works:

- Drain wall stabilisation and repairs

- Pavement and car park repairs

- Road reconstruction

Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 7am to 5pm

Duration: Early June to mid-July 2025, weather and site conditions permitting

Traffic changes:

- Reduced speed limits

- Single-lane operation managed by traffic controllers

- Variable Message Signs (VMS) will display updated information on site

Nearby residents may notice some noise, vibration and activity during the works. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption.

These recovery works are jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments through the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
