Foreshore Clean-Up - Meunga Creek to Tully River Mouth

Cassowary Coast Regional Council has commenced a beach clean-up of the foreshore area stretching from Meunga Creek to the Tully River mouth.

The clean-up is being carried out by North Coast Marine under contract and will focus on removing general plastics and non-natural debris, including flood and farm-related waste.

This clean-up is part of ongoing efforts to restore and protect our coastline following the flood events earlier this year.

Assistance for this recovery activity has been provided through the jointly funded Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
