May 23, 2022- FAULT AFFECTING COUNCIL OPERATIONS

A Telstra fault is affecting services within the areas of Innisfail, Karumba, Babinda and Pin Gin Hill exchanges.

Telstra have advised Council that they have sent a technical team to resolve the issue however at this time no ETA has been provided as to when the issue will be resolved.

Council phones are affected by this outage and have been switched over to Out of Hours Service.Customers who contact Out of Hours Service operators will have their details logged and will be contacted by Council Customer Experience Officers to action their enquiries when phones are operational again.

Out of Hours operators will report any emergencies to the appropriate on-call person.Alternatively if it is not an emergency, customers are encouraged to email Council at enquiries@ccrc.qld.gov.au with their query so officers can respond as soon as possible.

Council Call Centre’s will remain diverted to Out of Hours operations until further notice.
