Notice of Night Works – Asphalt Overlay on Butler Street, Tully

Cassowary Coast Regional Council wishes to advise that essential road resurfacing works will be undertaken on Butler Street, Tully, between Bryant Street and Stitt Street, on the nights of Monday 25 August to Wednesday 27 August 2025, weather permitting.

Council has engaged Boral to carry out an asphalt overlay to improve road conditions and safety. To ensure the safety of workers and road users, a full road closure will be in place from 6pm to 6am on both nights.

  • Location: Butler Street, Tully (between Bryant Street and Stitt Street)
  • Dates: Monday 25 August to Wednesday 27 August 2025
  • Time: 6pm to 6am (night works only)
  • Road closed during works; detours in place
  • Contractor: Boral

Businesses and residents in the area are encouraged to plan ahead. Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks the community for its patience and understanding.

For the safety of workers and road users, changed traffic conditions will be in place while the works are carried out.
