About the Event
Cassowary Coast Regional Council, in partnership with Arts Queensland through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), invites the community to attend the Cassowary Coast Indigenous Art Show, a celebration of local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art and culture.
Held during Reconciliation Week 2025, this one-day event showcases the incredible talent of First Nations artists from across the region.

Free Weaving Workshops
Free weaving workshops will be running throughout the day. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn traditional techniques and connect with local culture.
Purpose
The art show provides a platform for First Nations artists to share their stories, heritage and creative practices with the broader community. It is part of Council’s ongoing commitment to recognising and celebrating First Nations culture across the Cassowary Coast.
